Boral Bricks - Ultrafast Lintel Utility Bricks

Manufacturer: Boral Bricks
Model: Ultrafast Lintel Utility Bricks

Utility bricks are predominantly used for internal walls, for supporting structures, or can be used externally when rendered or painted. Lintels are structural beams used to horizontally span the top of an opening, such as a door or window, to support the wall above.

Features

Midland Bricks Ultrafast Lintel Utility Bricks are available in a range of different specifications to suit various projects and to maximise cost efficiency.

Ultrafast Lintels are designed for use with Midland Bricks 90mm wide 305 Series utility bricks, specifically Ultrafast and Maxibrick. They are suitable for openings up to 2410mm and are ideally suited to be used in double clay brick construction due to their compatibility with clay brickwork.

Ultrafast Lintels are made with galvanised reinforced steel, allowing the lintels to be used externally following the application of a weather resistant coating as specified in Australia/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 2311.

Midland Bricks high quality utility bricks are the preferred choice in the WA market. Midland Brick has a utility brick to suit almost any construction project, including commercial projects such as schools, multi-storey buildings, warehouses, retail shops, etc.; housing; retaining walls; and extensions.

Specifications

Midland Bricks utility bricks' colour ranges from a cream to a muddy brown. As most utility bricks are used internally or rendered, a consistent colour or texture is neither necessary or considered during the selection process. The colour and texture of utility bricks do not contribute aesthetically to a finished project.
