Adbri Masonry manufactures two innovative mortarless block systems. Mortarless blocks systems save time, effort and money as blocks are made with connecting lugs for easy and quick installation which are core filled upon the completion of the project. Not only are mortarless systems beneficial for commercial builders and blocklayers due to reduced labour needs, but they are also ideal for the home handy man. Retaining and structural walls as well as other DIY projects are made easy with Adbri Masonry's Hi-Stack and Form Block mortarless systems.

Versaloc™ is Adbri Masonry's new mortarless masonry solution. Currently available in Queensland and Victoria, this dry stack block wall system is ideal for various building applications including load bearing, dividing and basement walls. Features

Versaloc™ is Adbri Masonry's new mortarless steel reinforced concrete masonry walling system which is available in a 200mm series. The Versaloc™ system has many benefits over traditional block mortared and mortarless masonry systems and precast concrete walls. The main advantages of the Versaloc™ system include:

• Improved block interlock resulting in increased wall stability during laying, reinforcing and core filling stages
• Eliminates the need for plastic locating bridges
• Increased speed of block work construction as there is no need to wait for mortar to go off before laying the next course.
• Using Versaloc™ significantly reduces mess on job sites with as no clean out of cores is required before core filling
• Versaloc™ construction can take place in all weather conditions

Versaloc™ has been designed in accordance with Concrete Structures Code AS3600. Versaloc™ is suitable for all forms of block work walling in commercial, industrial and residential construction including:

• High strength load bearing walls
• Soil retaining walls
• Swimming pool walls
• Basement walls and exterior walls*
• Common dividing walls and boundary walls*
• Cyclone rated walls*

*Please Note: For weatherproofing all external plain face Versaloc™ walling it is recommended that the wall is coated with Bostik Aquashield SB40. For weatherproofing aesthetically finished Versaloc™ walling we recommend a single coat of render followed by a single coat of acrylic paint.
