Standard User/Consumer: Can at no cost use BuildingChoice.com.au to create their own projects, compare prices, request quotes, make enquiries, receive members-only discounts and find trade professionals and suppliers in their local area.
Trades: Can register for a free listing or pay for optional upgrades where they can upload their contact details, images, receive and manage enquiries and quotes, view statistics on how their listing is performing plus loads more features and more to come
Suppliers/Retailers: Can register for a free listing or pay for optional upgrades where they can upload their contact details, store locations, receive and manage enquiries and quotes, view statistics on how their listing is performing as well as loads more features and more to come.
Brands/Manufacturers/Distributors: Can register for a free listing or pay for optional upgrades where they can upload as many products as they wish, receive enquiries from suppliers who may want to sell their product, view statistics on how their product listings are performing plus loads more features and more to come.
Why do some products have no prices displayed?
This is for various reasons, though primarily this is due to considerations such as the varying local taxes, transport costs, and government rebates where the range in price between regions is quite significant. Be aware that pricing on buildingchoice.com.au is only for the purpose of comparing and making choices, so should only be treated as an indication of what you could expect to pay for a certain product. We have tried to minimise the amount of products with no prices by also making available a price range that can be used by the Brands when listing their products
Can I purchase the products directly from buildingchoice?
No you cant. Buildingchoice is a service provided to help you choose your building products. For every product we list local suppliers where the product can be priced and purchased.
What is "My Project"?
"My Project" is basically a place where the products, suppliers and trade professionals you like are stored. Once you have added a product to a "My Project" you can compare and manage your list until you have decided on your final products. Once your list is finished you can store, print or email your list and use it as you desire.
